During my Career as an Engineer, Engineering Manager and Sr. Engineering Manager over two and a half decades, I had to develop skills to complement the technical expertise acquired at several Universities in three Countries. I learned by myself the hard way, by finding and observing role-model Engineers and Managers, by reading leadership books and articles, by attending Courses offered by the Companies I worked for… Thru a lot of trial-and-error learning, I developed the courage to be vulnerable more than one time – and, more important, to learn from those experiences. All this made me a better Engineer, a better Engineering Manager, and a better Engineering Leader.
